And all stands forgotten

Sun streaked mornings, the contented glance
Untamed sunsets, the moon light dance
Just a hint of a newer world
And all of it forsaken
Comforting touch, smiling cheer
Caring eyes, affectionate tear
Not even a memory of it all
And it’s left abandoned
Teenage grasses, childish snow-walks,
Mature mochas, old-age talks
Only a formal word to part
And all of it is shaken
Unsaid words, unbound affection
Unheard ease, unnamed relation
A soft goodbye whispered in the dark
And all stands forgotten.
